The Jargon File

Typically (read "only ever") used by geeks who cut their teeth in the late 80's/early 90's 8 bit scene, 69.105 simply means "lots".

Occasionally, it is used as an alternative to X in psuedo-algebra.

For example, "It was absolutely heaving, there must have been 69.105 people there".

or "If you have 69.105, you have to run the process y times".

This is a reference to the Zork universe.
