Happily Unaware

Of software to be happily unaware of some important Bad Things.

For example, the mailer mail be happily unaware that it's sent the same email tens of thousands of times because the database is down, and it's the mailers job to send an email when the database is down, but because the database is down, we can't store the fact that the mail has been sent in the database...

(This is a real bug that actually happened).

Sometimes "blissfully unaware" is used instead - but there is no change in the meaning.

When used of humans, this term is generally mocking - humans being wilfully ignorant of something everybody with an IQ above 11 knows.
